A Day In Food

I have had many conversations lately with people that center around Carbohydrates. I have known of the notion in the past about protein being the food to power weight loss and energy in general (re: Atkins Diet). However, as I expressed in earlier entries, I am not interested in counting the vital statistics of my food. I really just want to eat what is good and stay away from what kills my body, I thought it was a simple idea too. Since I am a curious person I set about to journal my typical food for a day and give you the vital signs, below are the results:

NOW FOR THE EXCITING NEWS!!! I weighed in this morning at 230 Lbs. For those that are counting, that is a total weight loss of 29 lbs since Thanksgiving of 2013. I only have 20 Lbs to go to reach my goal weight of 210 Lbs. Also, I am signed up for my very first ever 5k run at the end of April. I don’t think I have long enough to train to actually run the whole 3 miles, but I will be happy if I can run half of the race. Thanks for all your encouragement along the way, please leave a comment!!

For now,

Steven
